Development Progress on the bitgrit Data Scientist Network Platform
The bitgrit team has been hard at work as of late; not only have our team members been actively participating in numerous events across the globe, we have also been spearheading our own events and workshops surrounding topics relating to AI.
On top of that, we have also been moving forward in the development of our online data scientist network platform — dedicating our efforts towards preparing new content for use by data scientists across the world.
The alpha version of our service is slated for release in 2019.
In addition to basic functionality such as user management settings, our alpha version will feature a Datasets section, allowing one to provide assignment prompts and data; a Forum section, which allows data scientists to share insights and engage in collaborative, open conversation; and a Learning Themes section, where one can provide learning themes to the platform. We will continue to gradually expand upon functionality surrounding datasets and learning themes onward from our alpha release.
Plans for future updates include user evaluation based on network participation, an incentive system making use of Dapps, competition hosting, and more; it is our hope that users on the platform will work in collaboration with us as we bring these functions to fruition.
